三、兴趣与爱好

　　人们都喜欢兴趣广泛、在学习以外有兴趣爱好、过着丰富多彩生活的学生。信不信由你，教育专家们也都认识到最好的学生并不是那种每天学习15个小时，每星期学习七天的人。大多数诚实的回答在这里都是可以接受的。回答一定要包括户外活动和团体活动。那些消遣活动仅是打电脑游戏和昕随身昕的人会给人留下个性孤僻、不适合团队合作和集体生活的印象。人们常常把有广泛爱好的人，尤其是有不寻常爱好的人，看作多才多艺、兴趣广泛、有健康生活观的人。这些都是被许多学校所看重的有吸引力的个人特征。那些能展示个人发展潜力的爱好最有价值。

　　I enjoy participating in and watching most sports. I discoveried￡，football in senior high schoo1 and found it a great way to relax and spend time with my friends. 　　这个问题不难，照实回答就行了。可以说你阅读兴趣广泛，喜欢看很多书。列举其中的那么几本有印象的就行了。但是绝对不能说你压根没看过的书，因为要是在场的面试官正好跟你再讨论一下其中的故事情节或者人物，你就会露出马脚了。
 
　　Possible answer，
 
　　I like mysteries very much - I like to try to figure out "who did it" before the author explains everything. My favourite character is Hercule Poirot in the Agatha Christie mysteries.I've read all of those.

　　I read the book that the movie "The Deer Hunter" was based on， about the war in Vietnam， and it made a very deep impression on me.It was the first thing I'd ever read that made war seem real to me.It was quite a shock I guess what shocked me most was the tragedy of the fighting and the close friendship that it brought among the men. Fighting and friends  always seemed contradictory to me， and that book shows them as very closely related.It has given me a lot to think about.
